About Our Funds

HealthShares™, Inc. is an investment company with 20 series of underlying fund portfolios. Each Fund offers shares, known as HealthShares™ that are listed on the New York Stock Exchange ("NYSE"). Each HealthShares™ ETF owns 22-25 stocks (except for the HealthShares™ Composite, which features 80 stocks from the HealthShares™ Composite Eligible Indexes) that provide diversification as well as meaningful, concentrated exposure to a therapeutic Vertical.

HealthShares™ Funds are organized Vertically by therapeutic categories in pharmaceuticals, healthcare services, life sciences and biotechnology. Each Fund seeks investment results that correspond to the performance, before Funds fees and expenses, of an equity Underlying Index of publicly traded common stocks and ADRs. The companies in the portfolios are selected using a proprietary methodology developed by XShares Group LLC designed to identify companies in the specific healthcare vertical or sub-sector.
