Exercising Regularly To Stay Healthy
Be honest, how much do you exercise each and every day? For most people, it’s zero and while it’s certainly nothing to be overly ashamed about (I’m sure you have your reasons) the fact remains that depriving yourself of exercise is a very unhealthy course of action. You see, our bodies are reliant on physical activity. It’s how we get the blood flowing through our bodies, filtering out all the bad stuff and cycling through all the good stuff - it’s really how we stay healthy and studies have shown that it can even reduce the odds of getting sick.
You don’t need to exercise a lot each day, just enough to really get your heart rate going. If a high impact, muscle building, zero body fat workout is what you are after, then that’s totally your prerogative, but it doesn’t need to be that way and if you are pressed for time it certainly isn’t realistic. Just getting out and running or doing some exercises for 20 to 30 minutes a day is enough to help get your body feeling good and looking good too. Consistent exercise can also have other benefits like a better sense of well-being, more confidence in social situations and an overall better outlook on life.
So, folks, if time is the only reason you haven’t been exercising then it’s time to hang it up and get out there. No more excuses. If you have time to read this then you have time to do a few sets of push-ups or go for a brief jog. You owe it to yourself and your body.
