HealthShares™ Cancer ETF (HHK) is one in a series of HealthShares™ ETFs that are organized Vertically by therapeutic categories in pharmaceuticals, healthcare services, life sciences and biotechnology. HHK seeks investment results that correspond to the performance, before the Fund’s fees and expenses, of HealthShares™ Cancer Index, an equity index of publicly traded common stocks and ADRs. The Cancer Index invests in healthcare, life sciences and/or biotechnology companies that have been identified as cancer companies. Companies included in the Cancer Index are engaged in the research, clinical development and/or commercialization of therapeutic agents for the treatment of a wide variety of cancers. Companies in this index generally include those with substantial revenues and significant research and development programs. The companies in this universe are selected using a proprietary methodology developed by XShares Group LLC designed to identify companies in a specific healthcare vertical or sub-sector.
HHK employs a low-cost passive management investment approach designed to track the performance of the HealthShares™ Cancer Index. Normal brokerage fees apply. HHK will generally invest at least 90% of its assets in common stocks of companies in the underlying Index.
HHK intends to pay out any dividends from its net investment income annually, and plans to distribute any net capital gains annually.
XShares Advisors LLC is the investment advisor for HHK. Bank of New York acts as custodian and administrator.
