HealthShares™ Announces Change to the Ophthalmology Index
New York (March 31, 2007) – HealthShares™ Inc., an investment company with a
series of 20 underlying fund portfolios, today announced that effective at the opening of
trading on Tuesday April 3, 2007, IntraLase Corp. (NASDAQ: ILSE) will be dropped
from the HealthShares™ Ophthalmology Index due to it being acquired by Advanced
Medical Optics Inc. (NYSE: EYE). Biogen Idec Inc. (Nasdaq: BIIB) will replace
IntraLase Corp. in the HealthShares™ Ophthalmology Index.
